Hi, my name is Dan.

I’m a freelance writer, photographer, and educational professional with 25 years of experience, both in and out of the classroom.

My passion for education comes from a deep curiosity about the world I live in, and the ability for learning to break down cultural barriers and bring people from all walks of life closer together.

I was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles, but it didn’t take long for my curiosity to take me halfway around the world to Asia, where I learned Chinese and routinely hop from Taiwan, to Tokyo, to Thailand.
